Carpet Town was established in 1971 as Carpet Town USA by Lester and Charlotte Dubrin. In 1996, Lester and Charlotte turned the business over to their daughter, Wendy Werner. Under her leadership the business has flourished, becoming a comprehensive Design and Flooring Center, staffed by an experienced team of expert sales consultants. The store uses only CFI-certified, employee installers for its flooring products. Carpet Town also has a design area with wallpaper, window treatments and fabric, where you can expand your dreams with a team of award-winning interior designers.

Carpet Town is one of the largest retail flooring stores in the greater Milwaukee area, and it has repeatedly earned The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Consumer Analysis Award as the number one choice for flooring. Wendy currently serves on the advisory board of the Wisconsin Floor Covering Association as well as being a member of the Foundation Board of Milwaukee NARI (National Association of Remodelers). Carpet Town is a continual supporter of Make a Wish and NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness).

History
For over 67 years, Floor Craft has built a solid reputation for quality products and services. They are the oldest floor covering store in Colorado Springs, established in 1942 by Lawrence Strauch and George Hendrickson.

Montgomery’s CarpetsPlus Color Tile opened in September 1998. Originally located directly across the street from the current location, the decision was made five years later to relocate to the new building,doubling their size.
